Normally this error occurs when the same file is present in both packages, so
they should be conflicting to ensure only one of them are installed at a time.
However, when I didn't get the same error when installing both on Ubuntu 24.04
and I cannot see the duplicate files listed when comparing the two either
https://packages.ubuntu.com/noble/all/python3-inputremapper/filelist
https://packages.ubuntu.com/noble/all/input-remapper/filelist
Could you please run `apt policy input-remapper python3-inputremapper`
which will list more information on the package versions.
