right, I downloaded the latest live image (http://cdimages.ubuntu.com /daily-live/20080408/ at that time) and gave it a whirl. no additional plug ins (all default live session plugins, 9 off) or add ons (ubuntu mods only) loaded, clean live session. the effect seems to have changed http://launchpadlibrarian.net/4938247/Screenshot-System%20Monitor.png does not load at all now, the tab icon goes orange for some seconds than dark grey, no image is loaded. reload does not bring it up... is it deleted? When I load this one http://feeblemind.tuxfamily.org/galerie/final/ubuntu-wallpaper/ubuntu-1280x1024.png the bug/symptom seems to be similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/182038 the png on http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080111-kde-4-0-rough- but-ready-for-action.html does not load at all. What else can I do to help? Hi Pedro, I haven't had time to test again nor did I download a new beta/nightly build. I will try to get to this. btw I was using the live CD and have a NVIDIA card so I propably used the free NV driver. Thanks for your report, do you have any other steps in order to reproduce this issue?
