[Bug 211952] Re: Zepto 3215W hotkeys

2008-12-11 Thread Zash
~$ uname -r
2.6.27-10-generic

~$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 8.10
Release:8.10

The wow-buttons works and can be bound.
The Q Charge-button does not do anything, dmesg says the same as above.
Diode under mute-key does not work/light up. Functionality duped by Fn+F6
Fn + F2 sends XF86Close according to xev.
Fn + F3 does not do anything. Guessing it is supposed to switch configuration
for external displays

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?

[Bug 211952] Re: Zepto 3215W hotkeys

2008-07-14 Thread Sami Lahtinen
The first one is Q Charge button for Smart Battery.

Second one should not do anything when you have power on. With that
button you can switch power on to USB-connector, when you have power off
at your laptop, so you can charge your mp3-player etc.

Please note, that Zepto 3215W is based on Compal IFL91, so fixing this
bug, fixes a many of other vendors laptop models too.

[Bug 211952] Re: Zepto 3215W hotkeys

2008-07-12 Thread Peter Bach
There are 2 more hotkeys that's not setup on the Zepto Znote 3215W. They
are placed to the left of the keyboard next to the tab key. They are
placed vertically.

The first one has a symbol with a S and a power connector at the bottom. dmesg
gives:
atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xf9 on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e079 keycode' to make it known.

The other one has a symbol with a USB host symbol and a lightning
spike. dmesg gives no output when I press/release the key. Maybe the
bottom isn't connected.

$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release:8.04

$ uname -r
2.6.24-19-generic

[Bug 211952] Re: Zepto 3215W hotkeys

2008-04-09 Thread Sami Lahtinen
I think hotkeys should poit this way.

WOW Audio = Start default audio player

WOW Video = Start default movie player

FN + F2 = Bluetooth on/off, because in Zepto 3215W there is also
manual switch for WLAN.
