[Bug 211977] Re: cpufreq ondemand governor causes kernel panics with 2.6.24-12-generic x86_64
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. There have been some kernel updates since you originally reported your bug. Is this still an issue with the latest version of the kernel? Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None = linux Status: New = Incomplete -- cpufreq ondemand governor causes kernel panics with 2.6.24-12-generic x86_64 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211977 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Ok, neither setting the scaling governor to performance, nor appending nohz=off to kernel arguments seems to help. Attaching /var/log/messages, maybe it'll give a hint about the cause of these lockups to someone. ** Attachment added: /var/log/messages http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13129001/messages -- cpufreq ondemand governor causes kernel panics with 2.6.24-12-generic x86_64 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211977 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
