2010-03-29 Thread Jason Ansaldo
Please excuse the delay in replying. This is a bit new to me and I had
thought I would get a notification. I will be attaching the file
momentarily.

In the future is the preferred method of reporting a bug to create a
duplicate or find one that matches your error and append the
information?

2010-03-27 Thread Andrew Starr-Bochicchio
Jason, can you look under /var/crash/ for a crash file for exaile? It
would be great if you could either attach it to this report or let
apport file it as a new report and mark it as a duplicate of this. The
code hass changed a lot since the first report, so a fresh one might
show something new.

[Bug 213405] Re: exaile.py crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_alloc()

2010-03-27 Thread Jason Ansaldo
I just got this error on 0.3.1.0.

Running 10.04, updated earlier this evening.
x64

How I triggered the bug:

The collection update had just finished scanning my music. I picked an
entire artist to be added to the playlist, totally about 30 songs.
Started the playback and after a few moments it pulled the wrong album
art (My collection is a bit of a mess and I have a rogue folder.jpg that
players like to use by default). I clicked on the image and the music
stopped. 15 seconds later I got the crash.

[Bug 213405] Re: exaile.py crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_alloc()

2010-03-26 Thread Andrew Starr-Bochicchio
The Exaile 0.3.x series is a complete rewrite. Ubuntu 9.10 released with
version 0.3.0.1, and the current development version of Ubuntu Lucid
includes Exaile 0.3.1.0. I can not reproduce this issue, and it has most
likely been fixed upstream. Has anyone experienced this issue with
Exaile > 0.3.0.1?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better!
