Binary package hint: update-manager

Description of the problem:
When clicking on the Changes/Description tabs or the text area beneath for the 
first time a BIOS beep will occur.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start update-manager .
2. If it is not open, click on "Description of update" arrow to open up the 
bottom area.
3. Click on the Changes tab.

Expected result:
Tab focus to move to Description button.

Actual result:
Tab focus does not move and a BIOS beep (on my system the BIOS beep is not 
played through the soundcard) occurs.

How reproducible is this problem?
It is reproducible every time.

Additional information:
You may need have some updates to do before this problem can be reproduced.

Version information:
Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
update-manager 1:0.87.16
