Clean Ubuntu Hardy i386 installation. Output of lspci -v is exactly the same as Smurphy above, as is my monitor :) (SyncMaster 204Ts 1600x1200 DVI) What is this all about, it's very annoying behaviour! The Screen Flickers randomly - and sometimes - suddenly becomes Black. Can't recover except go to console and initiate a reboot. restarting KDM or manually starting X does not help. When I do that - I get a Kernel Oops - but the system then locks hard.
