I have now tried with a different user and the bug are still present. When Compiz is activated (by default when creating a new user) the window cannot be moved. Turning Compiz of makes it possible to move. Sometimes the window opens up maximized. Trying to move an icon is impossible. It tries to fire up the program. I do think that it could be a nautilus problem as well. When I try and move a window it is being maximized. When I try and move an Icon it opens up the file or the program. You are correct. It must be a compiz problem. I have now turned of Compiz and it is now working. Hi there, After I installed the emerald-thingy I could move the windows. The problem was present after a fresh and clean reinstall - except for the Home partition (Which I had to have fresh as I have lots of important data on that partition). The desktop effects was set to middle if I remember correctly.
