Public bug reported:

On a 100GB hard disk on my laptop I created a partition (ext3) of
35000MB mounted on /home. The installer tells me that there is not
enough space for /home and that I should reconsider to resize it. I
simply pressed Continue and everything was working OK and the partition
properly created with 35GB.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
