I am seeing this issue in KDE 4.2 and Jaunty (both alpha-3 and alpha-4, as well as with the latest updated packages). I am running jaunty on a real machine, not a VM. Please let me know where to gather relevant logs. Setting status back to "New" as Harald's response was "Invalid". In reply to Harald Sitter: 1) Yes, it was probably changed only for the user, but it was not applied at login, which is the problem. Please re-read the bug to see that it requires re-openning the display settings dialog to get it to re-apply after logn. 2) No, I believe that you are incorrect here.
