Its Been Long Time Since I reported this Bug and I No Longer am using Hardy But Mint-Linux 5. I would Test and see if this bug still exist but My XP file Server MotherBoard Blewup so I no longer have another computer on my network. Thanks for getting back with me and trying to resolve this issue. I'm sorry I can;t help you with this problem at the time but I will say thanks and I am enjoying linux a whole lot I prefer over that MS XP any day. I have found a temporary solution to getting files sent to my Windows XP machine that is in my local area network TCP/IP threw samba client. Copy/Cut files and pasating them to my XP Machine still does not work but if I simply drag and drop the file I want to send to the XP Machine folder mount that is on the desktop when samba connects to the machine that is on the network. I take the file I want and drag and drop over the folder mount that is on the desktop and the file is sent to the networked XP machine. Cut/Copy Paste files to XP Computer Not Working. Cut/Copy Paste files From XP Computer to Ubuntu 7.04 Linux Machine works good. Drag and Drop files to XP Computer Works Good.
