The upstream bug was closed due to too much time spent in "Pending", not because of fixed. Hi. This is my first time working with backtrace. If you can point me to instructions about getting debugging symbols I will be pleased to follow them. I suppose I must install pidgin-dbg package for symbols. And then? Do I try an strace like before? Should I use gdb howto instead? Hi. Looks we have been lucky today :-) I was able to trace the second situation. A huge amount of pidgin processes running. CPU and memory at full load. I was scrolling a text document on open office when it begun.
