Just following up on some old bugs. Did the original reporter try the suggestion in comment 2 and if so did it work? If the problem is incompatability between opensync versions then this bug really belongs to opensync. The new opensync-0.22 is not compatible to the old one from gutsy. Thus, the new configuration is in ~/.opensync-0.22, while the old is retained in ~/.opensync.
