Just following up on some old bugs. Did the original reporter try the
suggestion in comment 2 and if so did it work?

If the problem is incompatability between opensync versions then this
bug really belongs to opensync. Although I can see how it would be hard
to track down since it would only affect the subset of users using
opensync under gutsy about to upgrade to hardy.

The new opensync-0.22 is not compatible to the old one from gutsy.
Thus, the new configuration is in ~/.opensync-0.22, while the old is
retained in ~/.opensync.  You can try to manually migrate your old
configuration to the new one.
