Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
I use Ubuntu 8.04 with NM 0.6.6 If I try to connect to a wlan when an application is requesting an internet connection (like a refreshing page in a internet browser, a login process in Skype etc.) The system crashes or rather, the system doesn't reboot but I can see the screen, I can't move the mouse arrow and not even use the keyboard, something like viewing a screenshot. Although I wait for many minutes, the situation is always the same. All I have to do is cut the power off from the computer, but this is not a "clean" solution. And also, it bothers me a lot. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- NM causes a system crash if it connects when internet is requested by an application https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224335 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
