2009-01-26 Thread Hein van Rensburg
Hallo Hew, I ran Ubuntu interprid and Compiz worked like a charm.

I suggest this bug is closed and I will retest in kubuntu 9.10.

Let me know if I can assist with testing.

Hein

Does the problem still occur with Intrepid? If so, could you please take
a screenshot showing what exactly is broken? Thanks in advance.

[Bug 226157] Re: compiz broken on x64

2008-05-05 Thread Hein van Rensburg
Yes, I have a Nvidia 6500 card with 256mb. Installed the latest nvidia
driver through kubuntu. Ran the command, and it does not improve the
situation.

Not only is the button missing, but windows are frozen and can not be
moved or scaled when I use the Desktop effects manager with Extra or
Custom effects.

Are you using nvidia? If so, does running `nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-
glx-visuals` then restarting X (ctrl-alt-backspace) help?
