Dear Pedro,

Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately !) I was not able to reproduce this
exact crash another time. Every once in a while I get small video glitches,
I guess this has to do with proprietary nvidia drivers for my card. Thanks
for taking the time to look at the issue anyway.

 Hello,
 It seems it actually crashed during the upgrade from Feisty to Hardy
 (blurred screen). However it did not disturb the update, nor does there seem
 to be any problem now. Using Nvidia proprietary driver (new) on Dell
 Inspiron 5150. A very benign bug.
