Can confirm this behavior. Definitely isn't flashplugin-nonfree, as I'm using swfdec and it only started happening recently. I've seen this behaviour transiently in the past, but now, on current Intrepid, it seems to happen every time I open a page which uses Flash. I just started getting this in the latest Intrepid as of a few days ago. It seems to be related to flash. A window or tab with Flash content will open a popup the same size as the content. It will initially show the content, but it never gets repainted and eventually turns gray. Closing it instantly closes FX.
