The problem was initially with FF 3.0 so I reinstalled FF 2 alongside. The bug was then perpetuated by a conflict between the two FF versions, and eventually came to affect FF 2. It is already solved, it was a problem on firefox 3.0 and trying the new version it works ok. Some websites including my online banking website and travel site firstchoice.co.uk seem unable to store data fed in in Firefox 3. I cannot log into my bank, and the Firstchoice website does not allow me to access specific holidays, but returns me to a general input page.
