Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
Compiz version 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu6 Ubuntu version: 8.04 LTS (Hardy) There is no problem when Compiz is not enabled. Steps to reproduce the bug: Activate Compiz. Open a new window What I expected to happen: The window to be positioned so that the titlebar is still visible. What did happen: The window was positioned too high, so that the titlebar is in fact under the top panel. What I think is happening: The window is actually the correct size. However, I don't think Compiz realizes that the window should be below the panel, and it places the maximized window at the top of the screen, rather than in the correct position. Workaround: Click on the maximize icon, and it fixes itself. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- With Compiz Fusion, windows go under top panel when started https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230025 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
