i have the same problems with gthumb v 2.10.9 in os-version 8.10 (alpha 4, german). the error-message: Die Objekte konnten nicht verschoben werden: Ungültige Parameter. I am experiencing the same problem with a slight difference. In the box Write to CD I choose Selected Images and click OK. Nothing happens. The box stays there, I can click OK forever without any result. When I select the other option in the aforementioned box, Current Folder and click OK, I got the annoying Error box with the microsoftish message: Could not move the items: Invalid parameters. In other words, I cannot transfer my pictures to CD using gThumb (and Ubuntu, for that matter).
