Christophe Bisière's patches are part of a much larger change in svn trunk, and can not be used against the 2.10.x series. The transition from gnomevfs to gfile is going dreadfully slowly, due to a lack of upstream developer time and interest. It seems that in bugzilla is a patch from Christophe Bisière for this bug. Could be patched the Jaunty version so we have this bug fixed earlier than in Jaunty+1? This bug is quite... important as I lost some images thinking that they are going into trash...
