I installed vino version 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 from Hardy -proposed and
testing the following situations:

Connecting to the vnc server while requiring confirmation
Connecting to the vnc server while requiring confirmation and a password
Connecting to the vnc server without confirmation required and a password
Connecting to the vnc server without confirmation or a password

All four situations worked and I was able to view and control the remote
desktop.
