[Bug 235871] Re: network manager disappeared from the notification are
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? In case that you need more information for debugging Network Manager, please read this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager . Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- network manager disappeared from the notification are https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235871 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 235871] Re: network manager disappeared from the notification are
After having restarted Ubuntu about three times (because of another issue which is not relevant to mention here) today, the network icon suddenly reappeared. I haven't changed any system-settings today, just used VMware server, Terminal Services Client, OpenOffice Writer and Firefox 2.0.0.14 for work purposes. I could imagine the issue could arise again after removing the notification-area and then adding it, but I'm not taking the risk at this moment because of the need to use my VPN-connections. If needed I can add another account and remove it from there if it's relevant for further troubleshooting of his issue, so here my question whether this "bug?" should be closed or be troubleshooted further (in which case I'd need some instructions for producing/copying relevant log/configuration-files, etc). -- network manager disappeared from the notification are https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235871 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
