Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-keyring
Ubuntu 8.04 AMD_64 gnome-keyring: Installed: 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 I have had various problems with Evolution becoming unresponsive and the whole computer grinding to a halt and only the mouse responding - even Ctrl-Alt-F1 etc doesn't respond. It all seems to be related to gnome-keyring-daemon forever increasing in size. If Evolution starts to slow and I get to it in time, I can kill the daemon, and then instantly Evolution springs back to life and the daemon restarts. If I don't notice and kill the daemon in time, it can continually increase in size - for example today it reached 850MB of memory. This is where it takes down the entire system if it runs out of real and swap memory. When the daemon restarts, it usually takes up about 500kB. ** Affects: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-keyring-daemon keeps on growing till it cripples system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239515 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
