Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
After upgrading my OOo setup from 2.3 to 2.4 (ubuntu gutsy->hardy), I cannot modify .odb documents anymore. What I do is the following: - open a .odb file - open a form inside the file, the writer interface appears - modify the form in any way (adding text, menus, anything) - save the new form and close the writer - save the .odb file and close If I now try to reopen the .odb file a "filter selection" dialog appears as If OOo couldn't determine the content of the file. Any filter I choose ends up with an I/O error so the file is permanently lost. Luckily I had backups of my forms and keeping use them, but, for work, I need to modify these forms as soon as possible and I cannot do this, for now. Hope a fix is possible or I will have to downgrade. Thank you a lot.
