Did it ever get a test? Because this bug is present in 4.0 as well as
today's Nightly, so I suppose it regressed somewhere along the way.

This works fine for the built-in source viewer, but I have a custom one
defined via the view_source.editor.path pref. Will it fix the source
not being sent to the custom source viewer, too?

This bug is still present and is NOT exclusive to certain sites. It
happens on ALL reported attack sites.

Firefox 3.0.6 on Intel c2d iMac with OS X 10.5.6 (Leopard)

It happens on a jquery website for me.

After reading upstream report it confirms my thought on this being a
site issue not a firefox bug. Do you have this issue outside of Mozilla
servers?

oh and just a note Steven you have firefox-themes-ubuntu this is not a
package for Firefox-3 its strictly a Firefox-2 package. This has nothing
to do with bug i just wasnt sure if you were aware. I will pass this by
Alexander to see if we should keep it open on our bug tracker since it
seems a site issue and they should be reported useing help >report a
broken website.

[Bug 239826] Re: Viewing source of "Reported Attack Site"

2008-06-13 Thread Rui Boon
I am able to confirm it with firefox (3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1)

Steps to reproduce,
0) Ensure that "Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected attack
site/foregery site" is enabled in preference (by default, both are enabled)
1) Visit http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-an-attack.html or
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html
2) Click on 'ignore this warning'
3) View source (Ctrl-U or view->page source)

Actual result:
There will still be a warning in the source code window. Pressing any of the
buttons do not helps

Expected result
Users should be able to view the source code of the site they have just ignored
the warning. If this is not possible for security sake, users should be able to
click on the ignore warning link in the source code window, to allow them to
view the source.

I will be searching for upstream report as i don't think this is
specific to ubuntu.

[Bug 239826] [NEW] Viewing source of "Reported Attack Site"

2008-06-13 Thread Steven Gauna
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I bypassed the "Reported attack site" warning page by clicking on
"Ignore Warning". I then tried to view the source code of the offending
page, which brought up another "Reported attack site" warning. However,
the buttons and link are not clickable since it is a source code window.
This makes the window completely useless.
