Almost every time I connect to an FTP server via Nautilus, I get an error message: The folder contents could not be displayed. Sorry, couldn't display all the contents of "/ on $domain": Could not connect to host Connecting to the same server via 'ftp' on the command line allows me to: ftp -v $domain Connected to $domain. 220 Website FTP Server Ready Name ($domain:$unix_user): $domain 331 Password required for $domain. Password: $password 230 User $ftp_user logged in. Remote system type is UNIX.
