[Bug 242822] Re: distribution upgrade fail
Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Ubuntu 7.04 reached EOL in October 2008. See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases I've tried recreating this bug with Ubuntu 12.10 and was unable to, given the information you've provided. Please upgrade to the latest version and re-test. If the bug is still reproducible, increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again. Do feel free to report any other bugs you may find. ** Changed in: update-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242822 Title: distribution upgrade fail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/242822/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 242822] Re: distribution upgrade fail
This looks an awful lot like what I'm experiencing. After the upgrade update-manager bails with $ update-manager Segmentation fault and $ aptitude dist-upgrade Reading package lists... Done Segmentation faulty tree... 0% however, I didn't get any of the warnings during the upgrade, and the logs look more or less fine. If there's any info I can provide to help this move forward, please let me know! -- distribution upgrade fail https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
