Public bug reported: We frequently use the "Switch User" capability and maintain two or three sessions at a time. When one user inserts a music CD the music player starts (as expected). However, when returning to another user's session, we find that the music player was started in that session as well. Furthermore the window decorations are missing from the application when this happens; I was able to close the music player by right-clicking its representation in the taskbar and selecting close.
I expected that the music player would be confined to running within the current user's session only. Unfortunately I am not at the computer exhibiting the problem right now, so I cannot get the exact output of 'lsb_release -rd' but I can say it is release 8.04 and up-to-date as of 2008/06/23. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Music player starts in all user sessions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242982 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
