[Bug 243814] Re: adept-installer crash
I am receiving the same crash with Kubuntu Intrepid Alpha 3 (installed 10 minutes ago). The adept_installer starts, but crashes shortly after (before fully loading). If run from the command line, I see the following. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo adept_installer kapture::PkgSystem::PkgSystem() Error: /var/tmp/kdecache-frusso is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0. KCrash: Application 'adept_installer' crashing... KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ The Error is probably benign (the result of sudoing). This is occurring with the amd64 build. Linux H2SO4 2.6.26-4-generic #1 SMP Mon Jul 14 18:39:36 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux. I'm willing to provide any information that you need to get this issue resolved.
