Binary package hint: vino
In xubuntu 8.04, I have set vino-preferences to allow incoming
connections, but get "connection refused" when trying to log in to VNC
from another computer. Googling around has shown that vino-server or
vino-session needs to be running on startup to get vino to work. This
isn't happening. vino-session doesn't even appear on my computer.
vino-server is located at /usr/lib/vino/vino-server. Adding
/usr/lib/vino/vino-server to /etc/rc.local didn't help any.
Using vino 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 from the repositories.
