It's fixed, tested on the same machine upgraded to 8.10 with openoffice.org 1:2.4.1-11ubuntu2 Problem persists on 8.04.1 (another x86 machine). Which was the patch that fixed it? I couldn't find it in changelogs. I'm attaching a stripped down version of a document which has this problem. It was originally an .xls, but both .xls and .ods saved in OOo have this problem.
