Hi, The intended behaviour is not to be able to use the slider if not in call. It is fixed in Jaunty (ekiga 3.2.0) as the button is not usable if not in a call. Closing this bug. I am having this same problem with Ekiga 2.0.12 in Ubuntu Intrepid. I still see a problem (in Intrepid AMD64), but it is not as bad. Now, I can operate the sliders while I have connected a phone call. But, if I try to operate the sliders before the call connects, they still seem to snap back. The ekiga version is still 2.0.12. Dave ... I am running the v2.0.12-0ubuntu2 version of Ekiga. When I go through the configuration druid, everything works fine. The audio test passes using the default audio device and there is no problem hearing myself on the 4-second echo. I am using the ALSA manager. However, when I go to use the software, the audio sliders are stuck to the left which means the audio levels are both zero. If I call [EMAIL PROTECTED], it says that I am connected, but I don't hear anything. I assume I am connected. The connected icon says I am connected until I manually disconnect. The log says that the Local user cleared the call. It says Registered Accounts: 1 so I think my diamondcard.us account is all set. Expected behavior: Audio sliders go to desired location, audio can be heard.
