Public bug reported: Suspend / Hibernate previously worked like a champ. Today's upgrade from linux-image-2.6.24-19.34 to <clip>.36 (linux -image-2.6.24-19-generic_2.6.24-19.36_amd64) breaks suspend into two pieces. It worked perfectly yesterday.
The console freezes reporting a bunch of bad news. The only way to recover is to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice, or perform a hard reboot. The laptop will no longer return successfully from suspend. Attached is an excerpt from syslog that shows what is happening and is representative of the screen as it ceases to go further. Any questions or requests will be returned promptly.
