Hi I've just added all requested information (lspci -vvnn and dmesg). And here is the result of uname -a: Linux peel 2.6.24-20-generic #1 SMP Thu Jul 17 16:29:46 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux I will try to get a workmate's PCI NIC card and see if it works and if upgrading fixes it, but I'm not sure of when this will happen. I am currently working from home.
