upstream bug question g_simple_async_result_run_in_thread has g_return_if_fail (func != NULL) So, this should report some spew somewhere. I can confirm that it happens every time for me (Linux ubuntu 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Jun 18 14:43:41 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux) It does not happen with e.g. synaptic, but happens every time with gdmsetup.
