Hi, I've got the same problem with an up-to-date Hardy Kubuntu. I remember having no problem with Gutsy. From some research on the Net, it seems the problem comes from dvd+rw-tools (since version 6), rather than k3b. Sad it hadn't been fixed yet. Currently : K3B : 1.0.4 dvd+rw-tools : 7.0-9 Launched from the command line, dvd+rw-format says Erreur de bus in French, so it should be something like bus error Same error while sudoing. -- Intrepid: Kubuntu K3b error message...
