Public bug reported: Output of 'lsb_release -rd' Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04
The system froze up completely requiring a hard reboot. This occurred multiple times in a row; two times in a day. Running memtest and smartctl queries cleared out the RAM and hard disks. However, going through the /var/log/messages for the day, Aug 5, 2008, I found 'Clocksource tsc unstable' message during the times the system froze up. This freezing appears completely random - hardly possible to duplicate. Rest of the time, the system is running perfectly. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- system freezes randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255801 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
