Public bug reported: Hello,
I would like the user "orus" to be the owner of "/dev/mapper/vg-vxp" (a LVM partition with dm-raid). I add a udev rule : NAME=="mapper/vg-vxp",OWNER="orus" Then I execute : sudo /etc/init.d/udev restart All is fine! But when I reboot my computer, this rules seems to be ignored, and root is the owner of /dev/mapper/vg-vxp ** Affects: udev (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Not possible to change permissions of a LVM partition using udev https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/257638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
