Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04
When clicking on the update-notifier the update manager opens as it supposed to do. When double (or more) clicking the update-notifier the update manager opens more instances. This behaviour should not be allowed. I have tested it on two different machines (laptop and a desktop system) over a period of 3 weeks and running the latest version. Could it be that the check for an existing instance of the updatemanager is based on a existing update manager window and that doubleclicking is faster than instantiating the window? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- double clicking on update-notifier opens multiple update manager windows https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258128 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
