Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu Intrepid (alpha), updating "python-matplotlib-doc" package with aptitude gives the following: * python-matplotlib-doc [universe] depends on libjs-jquery * libjs-jquery [universe] recommends javascript-common * javascript-common [universe] recommends apache2 * apache2 depends on apache2-mpm-worker * apache2-mpm-worker depends on apache2.2-common * apache2.2-common depends on apache2-utils
And in the end, I end up installing a full http server (unless I explicitly ignore the recommendations) because I want to upgrade a documentation package. I don't know exactly what is broken, but I think there is a problem somewhere. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- upgrading python-matplotlib-doc installs apache2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262173 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
