2008-12-30 Thread Belisarivs
Well, I can't say. I think, that it did mess it up even with disabled
composition.

But I have no problems with it now. I'll mark this bug as fixed to not
to bother you with it.

[Bug 262395] Re: Missing window decorations

2008-09-18 Thread Belisarivs
I did reinstall Ubuntu and this problem disappeared.

But there were few days between last use of Ubuntu and reinstall.

Therefore I don't know if it was fixed or this bug was caused during
previous upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid.

Marking as invalid, anyway.

Re: [Bug 262395] Re: Missing window decorations

2008-08-30 Thread Belisarivs
Thank you for your interest.

Here is log.

mv xorg.conf xorg.bck

then restart o X.org (ctrl+alt+bckspace). Didn't help. Then I rebooted
(just to be sure) with same results.

Interesting is, that e17 from dunnewind repo doesn't have any problems
with decorations.

Thank you.

[Bug 262395] Re: Missing window decorations

2008-08-29 Thread Chris Coulson
A few things stand out in your logs.

>From your ~/.xsession-errors (this is repeated multiple times):

kwin: X Error (error: [DAMAGE+0], request:
XDamageDestroy[DAMAGE+2], resource: 0x14025a0)

>From your X server log:

(EE) intel(0): underrun on pipe B!

Could you please try running without an /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and let
Xorg autodetect all of your settings. Please attach the X server log
from this attempt as well please.

Thanks

Hi,

Could you please attach your ~/.xsession-errors file after you log in
please. This may contain some useful information if there is a problem
with the window manager.
