Could be a good change to make /root directory from 755 to 750 for
security.

From installation, any user added to the system can check any of the
files saved or cd to the /root directory. I think this is wrong and
should be treated as a bug.

It installs like this as default you can change to what you like under
root..changing it may in fact make more secure. But may cause bugs fix
user policy to not allow it change directory t 750...it is up to owner
and IT..I use  user policies.
