I hat the Problem in Alpha 6 only with a damaged CD image. Burning the image on a new DVD-RW solved the problem. So I suppose it is not (anymore) a bug, and we can mark this as solved or invalid or whatever. ** Description changed: I am using Kubuntu Intrepid Ibex alpha 4 (Kernel 2.6.26-5.15) on a MSI M661 Notebook. When I start from life CD with the USB mouse (Creative LX3) plugged in, neither the mouse, nor the touchpad work. And I don't get it working with unplugging the mouse. If I start the system wihout USB mouse, the touchpad works, and if I plug in the mouse after starting the system, it works, too.
