[Bug 264168] Re: Unable to install the package (unmet dependencies)

2008-09-27 Thread Sarah Hobbs
Thanks for your patch.

This still won't install, due to the recommends being installed by
default now, and not existing on intrepid. I've added to your patch,
and uploaded the fix.

[Bug 264168] Re: Unable to install the package (unmet dependencies)

2008-09-25 Thread fabrice_sp
I remove build dependency on kdemultimedia-dev and libkcal2-dev, and the
package build successfully and run successfully.

You can try the package from my PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~fabricesp/+archive) (don't pay attention to the
changelog :-) ).

I attach the debdiff with my changes

[Bug 264168] Re: Unable to install the package (unmet dependencies)

2008-09-24 Thread mithras
Can confirm this too.

The bug about libkcal2b is about unmet dependencies.
Downloading the hardy package file will make clear it requires libkdepim1a, but
libkdepim1a is not installable. The same is for libktnef1: libkcal2b requires
libktnef1, but libktnef1 is not installable.

The same problem over here, on (K)ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex too.
