[Bug 264222] Re: new windows opacity setting crashes compiz
There are actually two issues here; the first is Bug #696642; the second is that the opacity is set to zero by default, so it's easy to accidentally enter a rule that makes all your windows suddenly disappear. A fix would be to set opacity to 100 by default. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/264222 Title: new windows opacity setting crashes compiz -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 264222] Re: new windows opacity setting crashes compiz
This gets me every time. It's not crashing; the rule "class=" matches every window and is immediately applied; the default value is zero, so every window's opacity is set to zero. A workaround is to set the opacity to 100 before selecting a window.
