I am seeing this with KDE 4.1.2 on Kubuntu 8.04 amd64 - I'm trying to set it to use NTP to set my date/time. Check the box, hit apply, and it freezes. I terminated the process, then tried Alt-F2, and that crashed. This is happening due to an issue in kdesudo, where it doesn't actually terminate and thus it doesn't unlock parent processes. I am seeing this with KDE 4.1.2 on Kubuntu 8.04 amd64 - I'm trying to set it to use NTP to set my date/time. Check the box, hit apply, and it freezes. I terminated the process, then tried Alt-F2, and that crashed. This is happening due to an issue in kdesudo, where it doesn't actually terminate and thus it doesn't unlock parent processes. I am seeing this with KDE 4.1.2 on Kubuntu 8.04 amd64 - I'm trying to set it to use NTP to set my date/time. Check the box, hit apply, and it freezes. I terminated the process, then tried Alt-F2, and that crashed.
