Hi Albert, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). [Bug 267387] [NEW] One of card readers of Aspireone doesn't work, the other one only when a card is inserted.
Public bug reported: Aspireone netbook has two card readers: (This is for Intrepid Alpha 5 Live USB) The first one onlye reads SD cards, this reader works when a card is inserted but show no card when booting Intrepid from LiveUSB with the card inside (this is a minor issue, it works OK pluggin the card again) The second card reader is a multi card reader and it doesn't show any card when users inserts a new one.
