I'm hacking on software-properties-kde and this bug is preventing me from replacing a QFileDialog with KFileDialog. I don't see any kdesudo commits for the past 8 weeks. When starting the file dialog for background image it doesn't find klauncher and starts a new kdeinit session (klauncher, kded4, kdebuildsycoca4, kconf_update) it doesn't get any beyond kconf_update for some reason. The actual problem is that it can't attach to kded via dbus (which is due to messed up environment stuff we were investigating recently.
