[Bug 269556] Re: unable report a bug

2010-10-16 Thread RedSingularity
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all
reported bugs in a timely manner.
There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and
your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a
lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it,
and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs
by running apport-collect bug #, and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

[Bug 269556] Re: unable report a bug

2009-06-08 Thread Martin Pitt
This exception (SystemError in cache.commit()) comes from update-
manager, not apport. It seems that it invoked
/usr/share/apport/package_hook with that absurd package name as argument
for --package?

** Package changed: apport (Ubuntu) = update-manager (Ubuntu)

mobidyc ,

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Is this still an issue for you. Have
you upgraded to Intrepid or Jaunty to see if it corrects this.

The Upgrades will have a new version of apport as well.

Regards,
Leo
